About “SCC”

Welcome to the Our Lady of Grace’s SCC site.  It’s a place where you can connect with your children’s school.  A place where you can learn about faith and community and how it takes both to raise a child.

The SCC is not just about fundraisers, although we do have monetary goals to meet to help contain our school tuition.  That’s our practical side.  Our other side is more intangible.  It’s about building community among parents, teachers, our principal and clergy.  It’s about enriching the lives of our children–educationally, spiritually and emotionally.  It’s about giving our children memories and intellectual challenges that they will carry into adulthood.

We want to hear from you.  We know you ar thinking about your children’s education and the environment they learn in each and every day.  We can’t do this job alone.  If you’re not already involved, we ask you to join us and be a full participant in this wonderful OLG community.  Think about your sills and talents, your hobbies and passions, and how they might help our children or improve our school!

Mission Statement

The mission of our School Communication Committee (“SCC”) is to bring together the community, parents, administrators, students and staff to maximize the potential of Our Lady of Grace by giving equitable voice to those who our school serves.  This committee  has been created to maintain an academic, physical, emotional, social and safe environment where everyone can learn and respect one another.  This committee will work together to promote school awareness and activities.

 Vision

Our vision is that our community, teachers, parents and students establish values that will allow them to act with thoughtfulness and humanity.  That each student will be provided with an academic foundation necessary for them to reach their true potential and enjoy a successful experience in higher education.
